Stop E.ON changing energy for the worse

E.ON are pushing hard to build the UK's first coal power station since 1974 at Kingsnorth, Kent. If it goes ahead it will emit over seven million tonnes of CO2 a year, more than the annual emissions of 30 developing countries.
Say no to unabated coal
Coal or renewable? The old way, or the new. We head right back to dirty energy with E.ON's Kingsnorth. We destroy our chances of avoiding a climate catastrophe and let climate change push poor people deeper into poverty. Or we innovate and start a clean energy revolution. Now is the time to choose.
Fill in your details to email Dr Paul Golby, CEO of E.ON. Tell him to:
Do clean. Stop investing in new coal at Kingsnorth. Seven million tonnes of CO2 a year is not what's needed to reduce UK emissions and keep global warming below 2ºC.
Do smart. You have the opportunity for climate-savvy innovation. You're investing in renewables, you know the choices exist. Choose a smart energy future.
Do lead. You should lead a clean energy revolution. Show the way and don't risk your company credibility with Kingsnorth, when new unabated coal is not needed.
