Oxfam and Xfm

On the 2 December a jam-packed Brixton Academy in London was set for the first Winter Wonderland gig, Xfm’s annual series of live shows which bring the year to an end with today’s hottest bands and the stars of tomorrow sharing the stage.

Oxfam was there for the first time as the official charity partner – the shows will raise tens of thousands for our work around the world. Our volunteers were spreading the word all night about our own contribution to the festival season, Oxjam, signing up hundreds of people to get involved in 2009.

The second Winter Wonderland show takes place in Manchester on Monday 8 December – in the meantime, check out a video and photo diary of Tuesday’s action below.
